BRITISH OWL WORKSHOPS FOR PRIMARY SCHOOLS
An experienced children's educator, my educational British owl workshops are a wonderful way for Primary school children to learn about the wild owls that live in our countryside, like barn owls, tawny owls etc
KS1/KS2 OWL PRESENTATION
As part of my owl workshops I present an interactive Powerpoint presentation that engages with the children and teaches them about wild owls, breeding, the habitats they live in and how they are specially designed to hunt for prey.
OWL PELLET SESSION
Owl pellets are fascinating to look at and as part of my owl workshop I set up a table with two microscopes, small mammal bones, pellets and feathers together with a guide to identifying the bones
AMAZING OWL FEATHERS
Owl feathers are different to other bird's feathers and during the workshops the children get a chance to handle real barn owl feathers which have special features for silent flight and compare them to pigeon feathers
Owl workshops for Primary schools are available in South Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and some parts of Bristol
